Donations were made by McLeansville Lions to assist two children in our area who were diagnosed with cancer.
Our Club is contributing to the purchase of a vehicle to assist in the transporting of the low vision testing equipment for the District.
Donations of canned food were given to the Food Pantry of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church during the Christmas Season.
Lion Mike Montgomery has been arranging for eye exams and glasses for several students at Sedalia Elementary School. Most recently Lion Mike and Lion Joyce assisted a student from Eastern Middle School with her eyeglass needs!
Our eyeglass collection box is filling up again, thanks to the help and participation of our community! Eyeglass collection boxes are being distributed in the community. Special thanks to Lion Kathy Allmond and Lion Carol Moore!
We adopted TWO families this year and made Christmas time special for these families in our community. Many thanks to Lion Lee Ann Lockemy and Lion Audrey Dailey.
Furniture, clothing and money was given by many of our Lions to help a family in Sedalia who lost everything in a fire. Special thanks to Lion Danny Cobb and Lion Reid Cagle.
